Cranberries are an amazing Super Food that has a high amount of Vitamin C and also contains more antioxidants than most other fruits.
They also contain a decent amount of fiber.
We know all about apples. They say:
“An apple a day keeps the doctor away.”
Apples are of course high in fiber, but they also contain a fair bit of insoluble fiber too which is good for digestive health and can help with weight maintenance.
Spinach is low in calories and high in vitamins making it a very nutrient dense food. Popeye was on to something there.
This smoothie recipe is a power punch and it’s delicious too!
Recipe (serves 2):
- 1 Cup Cranberries
- 2 Apples
- 2 Cups Spinach
